How does a Self-Evaluation as an Employee work?

As an Employee, the Target Deadline is what matters most to you.

By this date the task should be completed, and your Self-Evaluation should be entered. Ideally, you should not wait until the last second to enter your Self-Evaluation – if you miss the deadline, the Target will be sent directly to your People Manager for their rating.

The Self-Evaluation is very important! It not only ensures that your People Manager knows how you see your performance, but it also makes sure that your view is not forgotten

Your People Manager will then have at least three working days until the next Evaluation Day (which is once a month, defined by your company) to do the assessment.


This is how your People Manager sees the Target after you have completed your Self-Evaluation. As a basis for the rating they will find your Self-Evaluation and your rating proposal.

They complete their commentary and give a final evaluation. This will be sent to you immediately and you will be notified.
